The Bulgarian-American Commission for Educational Exchange is pleased to announce the 2011-2012 competition for:
• Fulbright Senior Scholar Grants – 3-5 months for research and lecturing
• Fulbright Senior Scholar Grants – 3-5 months for research and lecturing
• Fulbright Graduate Study Grants – 10 months for degree (Masters’ and Ph.D.) programs; 6 months for non-degree programs
• International Fulbright Science and Technology Ph.D. Awards – 5 years for doctoral programs
• Fulbright – University of Oklahoma Grant – 2 years for an MBA program
• Fulbright - Thanks to Scandinavia Institute Grant – 10 months for a Master’s program
• Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowships – 10 months for mid-career professional development
• Research Scholarship for the Study of Civil Society – 3-5 months for research and study
• Research Scholarship for the Study of Civil Society – 3-5 months for research and study
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
• Applicants must have Bulgarian citizenship (green card holders and persons with double citizenship are ineligible).

• English language proficiency is required.
• Applicants must hold at least a Bachelor's degree (for Masters’ and Ph.D. programs).
• Applicants must be Ph.D. students (for non-degree research program).
• Applicants must hold a Doctoral degree (for Senior Scholars program).
• Applicants should be under 40 years of age and in sound health (for Graduate Student categories).
• Applicants should be under 50 years of age and in sound health (for Hubert Humphrey Fellowships).
• High scores on the American standardized tests (TOEFL and GRE/GMAT) are required by candidates for Masters’ and Ph.D. programs.
• High scores on the TOEFL are required by candidates for Hubert Humphrey Fellowships and non-degree research programs for doctoral students.
Students already studying in the U.S. are ineligible to apply for grants.
